Is designed as a primary information source for the (mostly seasonal resident) members of the SDRA, as well as permanent residents in the area around Skootamatta Lake, located in south-eastern Ontario, Canada.

The website has been constructed without specialized tools, (e.g. Frontpage, Dreamweaver). Almost all features are powered by 'open source', public-domain applications. Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) have been used to give all pages a consistent appearance. Javascript is used for some of the features on the site.

Since high speed Internet access is not widely available in the area, core information is presented on simple HTML pages, with minimal graphic content, to allow reasonable access via dial-up connections. Effort has been made to assure correct presentation with current versions of both Mircosoft Internet Explorer and Firefox (recommended) browsers.

Archived information and other data, (e.g. forms) are in the popular Adobe 'PDF' format. You'll need the free 'Acrobat Reader®' to view and/or print these.
