WELCOME:
Hello, and welcome to the SDRA website. This
website is oriented towards providing information and services geared specifically
for the residents of lake Skootamatta, and the surrounding
area.
The SDRA organization is involved in many activities around Skootamatta
lake. These generally include horseshoes, fireworks, general
meetings, water testing, and much more!

NEWS:
August 7th 2001:
After the annual general meeting on July 7th 2001, a lake stewardship
team was formed. The members are: Nancy Trimble, Pat Falby, Bill &
Susanne Sutton, Laury & Don Hitchcock, Bruce Heney, & Glenda
Johnson. The Stewardship team will attend the Addington Highlands
council meeting today at 7:00pm and introduce the group and give an
overview of our purpose.
August 4th 2001:
The annual horseshoe tournament was held today, with 16 teams
participating. The weather was great and the competition was
exciting. The winners of the tournament were Bob Glecoff &
Wayne Dacuk. Second place went to Dave Dacuk and Ross Cooper,
while third place was taken by Dave Trimble and Dave Stacey.
Special thanks go to Kent Farrow for organizing the tournament. We
look forward to the tournament next year
