** The Township of Addington Highlands has announced a full fire ban in effect as of 7 a.m. Friday August 8th until further notice. This means NO open air burning of any kind, including campfires or cooking fires.
Please note that Fireworks are NOT permitted during a fire ban, and in fact are illegal in Addington Highlands except for the limited dates permitted in the Bylaws.
So what does that mean for the Potluck / Bonfire
Now you might be wondering about our Potluck / Bonfire Event planned for August 16th. If the fire ban is still on we will not be having a fire. We will still have the Bonfire Music Event around a creative “fireless” pseudo campfire. We promise it will still be fun! Stay tuned… but let’s hope for a little rain in the meantime. ————————————————————
