** Rogers Cell Tower Update

** Well, it’s coming!
Rogers announced it has selected a new site for the tower. Rogers is proposing to build a new wireless communications installation at 156 Sheldrake Lake Rd. to ensure continuous and uninterrupted coverage and provide fast and reliable cellular service to our area. The tower is scheduled for 2026.
Rogers has identified the proposed location as the site of least impact to the community, while enabling Rogers to meet the desired cellular coverage goals and coverage objectives in the cell gap project.

There will be a consultation process, inviting the public to make any comments or ask questions. Rogers invites citizens to submit their written comments and concerns before 5:00 pm December 21^st, 2025.
