** Eurasian Water Milfoil (EWM) Removal Training: July 19th and 21st
SDRA members interested in learning how to carefully and safely remove EWM in front of their cottage can do so by attending one of the two training opportunities taking place on Sat. July 19th and Mon. July 21st. Both events will begin at 10:00am and conclude no later than 11:00am. These on water training sessions are subject to fair weather conditions, and will be rescheduled if necessary.
EWM Training sessions will demonstrate proven methods to safely remove invasive milfoil plants, and cover the need to comply with Federal and Provincial regulatory requirements protecting lake health, water quality and fish habitat.
If you wish to attend, please open the attached survey link, provide your email address and choose one of the two training dates. Workshop registrants will be sent an email 3-4 days before the training date confirming the training location. Registrants will also receive information on plant identification, and links to invasive species regulations.
