** Henry Hogg ———————————————————— Dear Members,
We are saddened today by the passing of our Reeve Henry Hogg.
Henry made sure that Cottage Associations had a voice in Council, and he was always supportive of the SDRA’s mandate. He selflessly gave his life to public service in support of our communities. It’s the end of an era, and he will surely be missed.
On behalf of our members, we send our condolences to Henry’s family and the many colleagues with whom he has worked over the years.
We have attached the official media release from the Township of Addington Highlands at their request, so that our members are aware.

In November of 1997, Henry successfully claimed the position of Reeve in the newly amalgamated Township of Addington Highlands. He took office on January 1^st, 1998, and held that position until 2003 when he decided not to seek re-election.
Henry re-entered municipal politics in 2006 and successfully claimed the office of Reeve; a position he held until this day.
Our flags have been lowered in honour of Henry.
We are thankful for Henry’s steadfast dedication to the Township and community; he was greatly respected and will be greatly missed.
Rest in peace Reeve Hogg.
