** SDRA Photo Contest ———————————————————— The time has come for the SDRA Annual Photo Contest! This is a great, visual way to celebrate our year at the lake. Last year we received over 70 photos. I am sure this year will be even bigger!!
Each member family can submit up to two (2) photos. Please send your photos to the following email address 2025photocontest@skootamatta.ca (mailto:2025photocontest@skootamatta.ca) by 11:59 pm on October 27th, 2025.
In order to ensure the highest quality images (and to ensure we can use the winning images in the 2026 SDRA calendar), please do your best to create photos in the following format. Aspect ratio of 4:3 and a resolution of around 3400 x 4400 pixels. Sending original photos is typically enough to meet these requirements. Sending a “screen capture” of an image will not create a photo as needed. In addition, while we will accept images in either portrait or landscape, landscape photos are preferred as they will fill a calendar page more effectively.
This year’s prizes will include $50 for 1^st, $30 for 2^nd and 20 for 3^rd place In addition, the top 3 winners and top 9 follow up winners will be selected to go in our 2026 SDRA calendar!
Once the contest closes, we will send out a POP with information on how you can vote on your favourite photos!
