Hopefully, you were able to join us on Zoom for the 2020 SDRA AGM on Saturday, July 4. SDRA members, Please check your email for a link to the online AGM Survey. We would greatly appreciate it if you would fill it out, even if you didn’t attend the online AGM.

During the AGM, we discussed the impact that COVID-19 has had on the SDRA events. While we were fortunate to have been able to pivot our Canada Day celebrations (great dock decorations!) and move the AGM to an online platform, the Annual Lake Festival has been cancelled. We have spoken with Ron Nowell and the potluck has been cancelled as well. However, we hope to be able to have some great events next year!

At this time, we are continuing to monitor the situation before making a final determination about the annual fireworks display. The move to Stage 3 is encouraging. We will be contacting the Kingston, Frontenac & Lennox-Addington Public Health Unit at a later date to seek advice.
