| Hi All, I drove to Ottawa yesterday and passed Silver Lake on my way. Silver Lake is usually a week ahead of us for freezing and thawing. The lake was significantly black. So things are moving along. As I look out my window at Skootamatta, the ice is now white with a lot of grey. It was also suggested to me that when the ice goes out I should have a picture taken of me doing a polar plunge into Skootamatta. I can tell you quite empahatically that this is not going to happen. I want to be around to enjoy this upcoming cottage season. The shock could do irreparable damage to my system. So, thank you for the suggestion but no. We have almost 70 guesses in our contest.
