** Great Canadian Skootamatta Ice Contest ———————————————————— What a difference a day makes!!! From snow covered ice yesterday to puddles of water all over the lake today. Maybe spring is actually coming. Mild temperatures today had their impact.
We had 32 guesses come in. What a great start! Keep them coming.
Guess the day you think the ice will go out. I will again use the section of Skootamatta between Oborne Point and Bible Island as the contest area. When there is more water there than ice that will be the day. Send your guesses by replying to this email or send them to info@skootamatta.ca. Entries must be in by Friday, April 3 at 11:59 pm.
